A few small details.
Will my image always fit the limit?
Every successful download is checked against the size you set. If the limit would require excessive quality loss or dimensions below our safeguards, UploadMint asks you to adjust it. Exact dimensions stay fixed unless you allow them to shrink.
Which images can I use?
Still JPG, PNG, WebP, supported HEIC/HEIF and AVIF, up to 30 MB and 12,000 pixels per side. Ordinary inputs allow up to 24 megapixels; HEIC native decoding allows 25 MP. Qualified tiled HEIC files have a separate 50 MP ceiling for original-size JPG; large-photo PNG/WebP output is limited to 4 MP. Other HEIC fallback decoding stays at 24 MP and AVIF fallback at 4 MP. File and device support varies: 48MP iPhone Safari compatibility remains unresolved. Animations and image sequences are not supported.
Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes. Choose PNG or WebP. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
Does this remove photo metadata?
UploadMint re-encodes decoded pixels rather than copying the original file, so original EXIF metadata such as GPS and camera details is not copied. Encoders may add basic output metadata. Check sensitive files independently before sharing them.
