Make a 300 × 300 image

Upload a photo and keep the preset width and height. Crop creates exactly 300 × 300 pixels by keeping the centre and trimming excess from the edges. Select Prepare Image to see the result, then download. Choose Fit instead to keep every edge; it may produce a non-square result within the box.

Check small details at their real size

A 300-pixel square works best when the subject is easy to recognise at a small size. Tiny text may become hard to read. Inspect the downloaded file at 100% scale before using it.

Exact pixels and a file-size limit

The preset preserves exact dimensions. You can add a maximum file size, but UploadMint will not quietly shrink your square to meet it. Enable smaller dimensions only if your destination permits them.

Your image stays with you

UploadMint processes supported images in your browser. Your image is not uploaded to a processing server, and no account is needed. Closing the page clears the working image.

Good to know

Why did Fit produce a 300 × 200 image?

Fit preserves the whole image and its aspect ratio. A 3:2 photo becomes 300 × 200 inside a 300 × 300 box. Keep the preset Crop mode when you need exactly 300 × 300; it trims the edges without stretching the subject.

Which format should I use for a small profile picture?

JPG suits an ordinary photo and fills transparent areas with white. PNG or WebP can keep a transparent logo. Use a format accepted by the destination and inspect small text at the final 300-pixel size.
